Waves reaching up to 1.4 m struck different coasts following an 8.8 magnitude earthquake off the coast of Kamchatka, Russia.
The effects were monitored across the Pacific Ocean, triggering the event mode on several DART buoys. Additionally, many tide gauges tracked sea level changes during the event. Below are some of the key monitoring stations:
