The Directorate General of Meteorology and Air Navigation, Public Authority for Civil Aviation of Oman has established seven new sea level stations along the coast of Oman as part of the National Multi Hazard Early Warning project developed with the assistance of IOC-UNESCO. Each of the stations has a radar sea level sensor and an underwater pressure sensor. Data from the radar sea level sensors is presently available on the GTS.
